Formulation and Evaluation of Bi-Layer Tablet of Nebivolol and Nateglinide

In the present work, Bilayered matrix type tablet were prepared by direct and wet granulation technique, in which immediate release layer ( compression) contains Nebivolol extended (by granulation) Nateglinide. All developed bilayer tablets evaluated for weight variation, friability, thickness hardness. The percent deviation from average weight, hardness was found to be within prescribed official limits. Release profile of formulations indicate that lower MCC (Formulations CF1 CF3) lactose (Formulation content displayed higher rates as compared formulation with CF2). Also concentration KYRON T-314 is also influence rate drug. It containing highest superdisintegrants has grater then other subsequent CF3).
